TRUSCO KA-4 steel tray, size 510 x 320 x 45 mm., red

TRUSCO KA-4 steel tray, size 510 x 320 x 45 mm., red
TRUSCO Steel Tray Model KA-4, Red. The structural features of the red KA-4 tray are identical to the silver (galvanized) model, but the special feature of the colored model is the high-quality baked coating. This not only enhances corrosion resistance, but also aids in color-coding management, which is central to 5S operations. This tray retains the key features of the KA series: a shallow and wide profile with seamless construction that ensures complete leak prevention. With a height of only 45 \text{ mm and stackability, the red model is ideally suited for storing and sorting flat parts or items requiring clear status identification (such as work pending inspection or defective parts).

Specifications
- Color-Coding Feature:The tray is finished with a red baked coating (Baked Coating) that is durable and highly visible, ideal for categorization under the 5S system or indicating critical statuses such as emergency parts or defective components.
- Shallow and Wide Profile: With a height of only 45 mm and a wide placement surface area, it is ideal for storing flat parts such as gaskets, metal sheets, or measuring tools.
- Seamless Steel Construction:Manufactured from steel via one-piece deep drawing, providing high strength and impact resistance.
- Stackable:Designed to be stacked vertically with stability and safety, helping save significant storage space.
- Lightweight and durable: Weighs approximately 1.3  kg, suitable for its size, offering a balance between handling convenience and steel durability.

Applications & Usage
- Identification of Defect/Quarantine Parts:Uses red as a universal symbol to clearly segregate non-conforming parts (NG), parts on inspection hold, or scrap from normally usable parts.
- Tray for emergency/critical tool kits:Used to store tools, equipment, or critical spare parts that need to be clearly identified and easily visible in emergencies, or frequently used equipment.
- High-visibility parts storage (Visual Management):Used in Visual Management or 5S systems to designate red for specific parts categories on the production line, reducing confusion and increasing retrieval efficiency.
- Arranging workpieces that require flat surface space:With its shallow and wide profile, it is ideal for holding workpieces that could be damaged by high stacking, such as large circuit boards, small molds, or glass/acrylic sheets.
- Use in storage cabinets with limited height:Ideal for shallow drawers or cabinets with narrow shelf clearance, while maintaining stackability and leak prevention capabilities.
