The 81683 industrial socket is part of the PratiKa/Mureva PK range, designed for panel-mounted, straight flush installation. It is engineered to handle high-power 3-phase electrical distribution with a neutral line (3P+N+E), emphasizing safety in wet, damp, or highly dusty environments.

Key Features
- Completely dust-tight and protected against water ingress from temporary immersion (waterproof up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes)
- Housing features high impact resistance in accordance with EN 62262 standards
- Heavy-duty socket supporting a rated current of up to 63 amperes
- Heat and fire resistant: Housing material is made of self-extinguishing polymer and passes fire resistance tests at 850 degrees
- Captive screw terminals: Uses screw terminals designed to prevent screws from falling out of the socket during installation
- Voltage identification via red socket housing color (Voltage Colour: Red) in accordance with EN 60309-2 standards

Applications & Usage
- Heavy industry/outdoor areas: food processing plants, shipyards, large construction sites, mining sites with high risk of severe exposure to water or dust
- Industrial machinery and equipment:Installed on large machinery (such as manufacturing plant machinery, mining machinery, processing machinery) to allow quick connection of the machine to the main power supply for maintenance or relocation.
- Factories and Washdown Areas:With an IP67 rating, it is ideal for installation in food and beverage processing plants, chemical plants, or other facilities that require regular high-pressure water washdowns of machinery and surfaces.
- Ports, shipyards, and large construction sites:Used as temporary or permanent power outlets for cranes, large water pumps, or high-power electric tools in areas readily exposed to moisture, dust, and seawater.
- Temporary power distribution systems:Used in the entertainment industry (concerts, events) or military for connecting temporary audio, lighting, or electrical equipment that requires ruggedness and weather resistance.
