As the world's first polyurethane (PU) palm-coated glove launched in 1988, it remains widely popular to this day. The key highlight of the B0500 model is its ultra-thin and lightweight design that delivers a bare-hand tactile feel. Featuring an unlined construction, the glove achieves minimal thickness and exceptionally light weight, making it ideal for tasks requiring high sensitivity, precision, and fingertip tactile feedback. The glove is made from high-quality nylon and polyester fibers seamlessly knit in a 13-gauge structure, providing exceptional elasticity, a perfect snug fit, and reduced irritation from seams. The use of continuous filament fibers gives the glove low-lint properties, significantly reducing lint and particle shedding, making it a suitable choice for clean-controlled environments such as cleanrooms (equivalent to ISO Class 6-7). The polyurethane (PU) coating on the palm and fingertips significantly enhances glove performance. This coating provides a non-slip surface texture, improving grip performance in dry and slightly oily conditions. Furthermore, the microporous PU foam structure allows excellent breathability, reducing heat and sweat buildup to keep hands cool and dry even during prolonged use. The uncoated back of the hand further aids breathability. The Showa B0500 is anatomically designed for maximum comfort and reduced hand fatigue during extended wear, and is latex-free, reducing the risk of allergic reactions. This glove is washable and reusable at 40°C while maintaining its performance and shape, offering greater economy and sustainability.
