Part of the 3M™ SecureFit™ 3700 Series designed to protect eyes for wearers already using prescription glasses, without having to remove their prescription eyewear. The standout feature of this model is the dark gray Shade 5.0 IR (Infrared) lens, which means the lens filters out high levels of visible light and also blocks infrared radiation, making it ideal for high-glare tasks, cutting, brazing/welding (light-duty applications), or high-heat environments that emit IR radiation.

The eyewear features 3M™ Pressure Diffusion Temple (PDT) Technology, an innovation that diffuses pressure over the back of the head, allowing the glasses to fit snugly across various face shapes and head sizes without pinching at the temples, enhancing all-day wearing comfort. It also features Adjustable Ratchet Temples, allowing users to precisely adjust the lens angle and position of the eyewear to suit their facial profile and prescription glasses.

The lens is made from Polycarbonate, a strong material with high impact resistance that absorbs up to 99.9% of UVA and UVB rays. The lens is treated with an Anti-Scratch Coating to improve durability and extend product life (this model typically does not feature the Scotchgard™ Anti-Fog coating found on models like SF3701ASGAF, offering only anti-scratch protection as it is a specialized application lens).

The glasses feature a slim and lightweight Over-the-Glass (OTG) design with black temples (BLK) and a soft nose bridge for long-term wearing comfort.
