The 3M Fahrenheit 71360 lenses are available in both polycarbonate for high impact resistance and acetate for excellent chemical resistance. Both lens types are clear, providing sharp vision, and feature anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings to extend service life and maintain lens clarity. In addition, they provide 99.9% UV protection.

A special feature that makes the 3M 71360 popular for specialized work is the clear Tear & Wear Strips (part number 71360-00006), which can be purchased separately and applied over the goggle lens. When the film becomes contaminated—such as with paint overspray or chemicals—it can be peeled off and replaced immediately without replacing the entire pair of goggles, providing convenience and long-term cost savings.

The frame is made of soft and flexible material (typically PVC or TPR), making it comfortable to wear and snugly contoured to the face. It is spacious enough to be worn over most prescription glasses without feeling tight. The elastic nylon headband adjusts easily via a buckle system and features a pivoting strap attachment for better pressure distribution, allowing for prolonged wear without fatigue.
