The 3M™ Secure Click™ Multi-Gas/Vapor Cartridge D8006 is a cartridge that provides comprehensive protection against various hazardous airborne chemicals. This cartridge is NIOSH-approved for protection against various organic vapors (such as from paints, lacquers, thinners), multiple acid gases (such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen sulfide), as well as ammonia, methylamine, and formaldehyde, making it a versatile choice for work environments with simultaneous exposure to multiple chemicals. A key highlight of the D8006 is the Secure Click™ connection system—a 3M innovation that allows quick and simple installation onto Secure Click™ respirators; simply align and push until you hear a "click" to be confident that the cartridge is correctly and securely installed. In addition, the D8006 features Dual-Flow technology, part of 3M's Quad-Flow system, which allows air to flow through the cartridges along 4 paths (when using 2 cartridges), significantly reducing breathing resistance and delivering superior comfort during extended wear. The swept-back profile also helps expand the user's field of view and provides better balance.
