BOSCH GBH 18V-18 X Professional cordless rotary drill, ONECHUCK system (bare unit)

Cordless Rotary Hammers BOSCH GBH 18V-18 X Professional ONECHUCK system (tool only (no battery))
The Bosch GBH 18V-18 X Professional cordless rotary hammer stands out with its innovative ONE CHUCK system, allowing compatibility with various bit types—whether SDS-plus bits for concrete drilling, round-shank bits for wood/metal drilling, or hex-shank bits for screwdriving (when used with a suitable adapter). Lightweight and compact, it provides easy control and is ideal for overhead or tight-space applications. Powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor, it delivers consistent power and extended tool life, complemented by safety and fatigue-reducing features such as KickBack Control and Vibration Control.

Features
- ONE CHUCK system: Accommodates 3 types of drill bits—SDS-plus, round-shank (for wood/metal), and hex-shank (for screwdriving)—maximizing operational flexibility.
- 1.5 J Impact Energy: Provides efficient drilling power for concrete and light chiseling applications.
- High-Performance Brushless Motor: Delivers consistent power and torque, extending the tool's runtime and battery lifespan.
- KickBack Control: Protects the user from hazards by instantly shutting down the motor if the drill bit binds in the workpiece (a vital safety feature).
- Vibration Control: Reduces vibration transmitted to the user, minimizing fatigue and helping prevent long-term injury.
- Lightweight and Compact: Enables easier handling, especially when working overhead or in confined spaces.
- Balanced Design: Offers comfortable handling even when equipped with an 18V 2.0 Ah battery.
- Variable Speed: To suit different materials and applications.

Applications
- Concrete Drilling: For drilling holes in concrete, brick, and stone using 4-18 mm SDS-plus drill bits.
- Installation Work: Ideal for wall-mounting systems, electrical installations, or plumbing in building structures.
- Wood and Metal Drilling: Can drill wood and metal when switched to a chuck compatible with round-shank bits.
- Screwdriving: Can be used for fastening screws in assembly or installation tasks when used with a hex-shank bit adapter.
- Maintenance Work: For light demolition or minor repair jobs (utilizing the light chiseling function).
- High-Mobility Tasks: Ideal for professionals working in areas without mains power or in confined spaces.

Considerations
- Impact Energy: At 1.5 J, it is suitable for general to medium concrete drilling, but not designed for heavy chiseling or very large diameter concrete drilling requiring higher impact energy.
- Battery and Charger: This rotary hammer is sold as "tool only (no battery)" (Body Only), meaning you will need to purchase an 18V battery and charger separately if you do not already have them.
- Alternative Bit Applications: Despite the flexible ONE CHUCK system, performance in wood/metal drilling or screwdriving may not match dedicated cordless drill drivers in certain applications.
- Weight: While light compared to other rotary hammers, the 1.8 kg weight (excluding battery) may still feel heavy for some users during prolonged overhead work.
