The MIKASA UM-ZF100 concrete vibrator is an innovative specialty vibrator designed for external vibration, unlike conventional immersion vibrators. The unit mounts to the formwork from the outside and delivers vibration directly to the concrete through the formwork. This makes it ideal for constructing walls, thin structural columns, or structures with dense rebar where using an internal poker vibrator may be difficult or impractical.

The UM-ZF100 features a vibrating plate measuring 100 mm (width) x 78 mm (thickness) and weighs only 5.2 kg, making it easy to install, move, and operate in various positions. This unit generates a high vibration frequency of 166–200 Hz (or 10,000–12,000 vibrations per minute (V.P.M.)), an optimal frequency for external concrete compaction to consolidate concrete, eliminate surface air bubbles, and achieve a smooth, aesthetically pleasing finish.

A standout feature of the UM-ZF100 is its anti-vibration rubber isolator, which helps reduce vibration transmitted to the formwork structure and facilitates easier attachment, removal, and maintenance of the vibrating plate. Please note that the UM-ZF100 vibrator is only the vibrator head and must be used with a gasoline engine drive unit (power unit) and a flexible shaft, both sold separately. It is typically paired with Mikasa MGZ series power units or compatible models.
