Hex-Plus technology designed to make hex socket head cap screws last longer by minimizing the risk of screw head damage or wear. Hex socket head cap screws are used in a wide variety of applications, from electronics and machinery to furniture and bicycles. However, the design of the screw's head can cause damage or wear when using a traditional hex wrench or hex key. With Hex-Plus, Wera developed a design with an additional point of contact between the key and the screw head. This spreads the load over a wider surface area. Reduces the risk of damaging or rounding the corners of hexagon socket heads. As a result, Hex-Plus can extend the life of hexagon socket head cap screws. Reduce the need for costly replacements and repairs. It also saves time and effort by reducing the risk of frayed or damaged screws. Overall, Wera's Hex-Plus technology is a valuable innovation for anyone working with hex socket head screws. From DIY enthusiasts to professional mechanics and engineers.
