- The new 2-MIX engine features an advanced layered charging system that increases power, reduces emissions, dramatically reduces unburned hydrocarbons in exhaust. The result is a cleaner engine. save more fuel
- The STIHL long-life air filtration system with pre-separation provides a significantly longer filter life compared to conventional filtration systems. The air that was drawn in was swirling. Larger and heavier particles are ejected. The pre-cleaned air is supplied to the air filter through a pre-separation duct.
- STIHL ElastoStart starts smoothly without sudden peak power. Makes starting the engine much easier.
- STIHL anti-vibration system Buffer and spring elements reduce transmission of engine vibration to the operator's arms and hands. This makes cutting with bare hands much less power.
- The die-cast magnesium blade guard is ultra-light. The protector and splash guard have a unique ergonomic design.
- There is a water pipe system to the cutting blade. Through standard water connection with sprinkler system to suppress dust generated during cutting.
- The mini fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburetor with the push of a button. This reduces the number of initial strokes required after long breaks in performance.
- The pressure relief valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to come out. This causes less force on the starting rope.
- The regulator in this carburettor prevents the fuel-air mixture from getting more saturated when the air filter is clogged. The correct amount of fuel is supplied to the carburetor depending on the amount of air passing through the air filter. This stabilizes the fuel/air ratio in the combustion mixture and also improves engine power. There is no need to clean the filter until there is a noticeable decrease in power.
